A Golfer's Paradise

The South West of Ireland is home to some of Ireland's most fabled links courses, the Old Head of Kinsale being the most noteworthy, built on a 220 acre headland jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean.

Some beautifully scenic, landsape courses make the area a golfer's paradise, including Fota Island Golf Club, which hosted the Murphy's Irish Open in 2001 and 2002, and Bantry Bay Championship Golf Coursewhich was designed by one of Irelands Ryder Cup heroes; Christy O'Connor Jnr.
