Festivals Galore

Festival season in Kilkenny kicks off in April with the Pan Celtic Festival, a celebration of all things Celtic. Following closely in May the Rhythm & Roots festival sees the city alive with bluegrass, country and alternative country music.

The progressive Kilkenny Arts Festival with visual art exhibitions, drama and music performances, takes place each August, but for a belly-full of laughs, visit the city during the Cats Laugh Festival in June!
