The Guinness Féile na nDéise is a traditional Irish music and culture festival held in Dungarvan every May bank holiday weekend. Since its foundation in 1995, the Féile na nDéise has boasted the best of Irish and European performers. Each year the featured acts are the best that Waterford has to offer in terms of top quality musicians and dancers as well as a range of street entertainment and exhibitions. Festival of Food

With a wealth of natural resources from mountains, to fertile plains and small fishing harbours, it is understandable why County Waterford produces the best food in Ireland. To celebrate the quality of food, the first Festival of Food held in mid-April 2000 was a resounding success, with a wide display of a variety of local food, together with the cookery demonstrations by celebrity chefs including Paul Flynn of the Tannery and Richard Corrigan. St Patricks Day

St Patrick’s Day is celebrated in traditional fashion in the streets and hostelries of Dungarvan. Central to the celebrations is the fine annual parade which has up to fifty floats, bands and marching groups. The event brings up to 8,000 people onto the streets of Dungarvan and is one of the busiest days in the town all year. The town is twinned with Eire Pennsylvania, USA.
