Sea Fishing & River Angling in Waterford

County Waterford is recognised as being an outstanding fishing holiday destination. County Waterford offers an abundance of spots for the fishing enthusiast and river, lake, shore and deep sea angling can all be enjoyed.

With the River Blackwater and Suir, Waterford's principal rivers, and the Atlantic Ocean surrounding its rugged coastline, County Waterford is an attractive location for fishing enthusiasts of all levels of experience and offers these anglers with a rich variety of fishing from game to deep-sea fishing that are all set in some of the most stunning scenery in Ireland.

Both game and coarse anglers are drawn to the River Blackwater to fish wild salmon, sea trout, brown trout, roach and dench. Brown trout can be found too in the lakes around Tramore.

Great angling rivers and lakes are found close to the hotel.  Cappagh Fishing Lakes are a 10 minute drive away and are spring-fed, trout-stocked lakes that offer excellent fly and bait angling - as well as calm water for younger fishermen.

All along the magnificant Waterford coastline are perfect spots for shore angling and Deep Sea Angling boats are available for hire at Dungarvan quay.
